There’s Nothing Quite Like Shooting Full Auto
So over the weekend I had the pleasure of heading off to the gun range with my good buddy Joel. I just recently purchased a Ruger 10/22 for my birthday and I wanted to take it out and see what it was capable of. It’s a fine rifle. I bought it with the green and red fiber optic open sights, and I was quite happy with my groupings at thirty one yards. I was shooting some 40 grain Blazer Brass and it fed every round without any issues. I was also surprised that my brother sent me a Ruger BX25 twenty five round magazine that I loaded up along with the stock ten round magazine for some extended fun.
As usual, I had my trust HD video camera with me as I love to get as much footage as possible for making videos on my youtube channel. I also brought along my AK47, Springfield XDm, Glock 19 and Ruger LC9. That may have ben a few too many guns to take to the range, but I like having options. I really had a good time shooting my 10/22, and the best part is, it’s so CHEAP TO SHOOT! I love it. Joel has a scope on his, and I felt like it was cheating using it inside of even fifty yards.
In the booth next to us we noticed the gentleman and his buddy shooting some pretty intense shit. At first I saw in the corner of my eye a suppressed M16. Ok, you have my attention Mr. Stranger in lane 14. What else do you have? Well, he also pulled out a full auto .308, and a full auto glock 19. After watching and drooling over all his fine weapons, he asked me if I’d like to shoot the glock 19. You don’t have to ask me twice. I asked him if it was ok if I loaded up my 33RD magazine and used that, he welcomed it. So, in the end I shot one 15 round magazine, and a loaded up 33 round magazine. Joel also had the pleasure of firing this beast of a pistol. I hope you enjoy the video below of our exciting day at the range.
